How it works

Quick-connect fittings join a high-pressure line without threading: a plug pushes into a socket and a sprung collar locks it. The set covers the standard combinations needed to terminate a hose, adapt a threaded outlet, and add or remove a tool from the line.

1. Identify: Match the fitting to the connection you are replacing — socket, plug, or threaded coupler.
2. Fit: Seat the fitting fully and confirm the collar has sprung back to the locked position.
3. Test: Bring the line to working pressure and check for leakage before use.

Before you deploy

Confirm the thread before ordering. The threaded ends on the couplers follow a specific standard. Check the connection on your equipment against the specification above, or ask us before ordering.

Seals are consumable. O-rings harden and split with chemical exposure and UV. Inspect at each fitting and replace the seal rather than the whole coupling where possible.

Lock before pressurising. A partially engaged quick connect separates under pressure. Confirm the collar has sprung fully back.

Not a repair of a rated assembly. These are replacement fittings for like-for-like restoration of an existing line. They are not intended for building a new pressure assembly to a different specification.
