The SkyJet E-Power is the ground power unit of a WasherDrone façade cleaning system. It draws from up to four independent liquid sources, raises the working fluid to 150 bar with an in-house manufactured plunger pump, and heats it to 90 °C through a diesel-fired 316L stainless steel coil before delivering it up to 300 m of hose to the airborne lance. Electric pump drive keeps the machine usable on ordinary site power, while diesel heating supplies the 42–78 kW of thermal energy no site electrical socket could provide. Two models cover single-phase and three-phase sites.

Key benefits

  • Single-operator capable. With the optional SkyControl remote, the drone pilot commands the pump, the burner and connected auxiliaries from the flight position — no second person stationed at the machine.
  • Hot water where mains power cannot supply it. Heating the flow to 90 °C needs 42 kW on the S-08 and 78 kW on the T-15 — far beyond any site electrical supply. A diesel-fired coil delivers it while the pump runs on ordinary power.
  • Four independent inlets. A five-way manifold accepts mains water, purified water and two separate chemical mixes, each opened independently. Duplicate inlets on the rear face allow plumbing from either side.
  • In-house pump, direct parts supply. The high-pressure pump is manufactured by WasherDrone. Seal kits, valves and service parts come from the manufacturer rather than a third-party supply chain.
  • Two power configurations. S-08 runs from a single-phase 230 V supply at 15 A. T-15 runs from 400 V three-phase and delivers nearly double the flow for continuous high-throughput work.
  • Built to expand. Accepts SkyTank purified water storage, SkyMix chemical tanks and SkyControl remote operation. Front panel lettering can be cut with the customer's own logo on request.

How it works

The SkyJet stays on the ground while the drone works the façade. All fluid handling, heating and pressure generation happen inside the unit; the aircraft carries only the lance and the hose.

  1. Select the source: Open one or more of the four manifold inlets — mains water, purified water from a SkyTank, or either chemical line from a SkyMix. Rear-face inlets mirror the front so the unit can be plumbed from whichever side the site allows.
  2. Pressurise: The plunger pump raises the fluid to 150 bar. Working pressure is set at the panel regulator and read on the front gauge.
  3. Heat, if required: The diesel burner fires the coil and brings the flow up to the temperature set on the panel thermostat, to a maximum of 90 °C. Cold operation leaves the burner off.
  4. Deliver: Fluid leaves through the hose reel and travels up to 300 m to the lance carried by the drone.

Before you deploy

Electrical supply. S-08 requires a dedicated 20 A circuit with residual current protection; T-15 requires a 16 A three-pole supply with RCD. Extension leads must not be used. Confirm earthing before connection.

Generator sizing. On generator supply, allow at least 10 kVA for the S-08 and 20 kVA for the T-15. Direct-on-line starting draws six to seven times running current; undersized generators will trip on start.

Hose length and delivered conditions. Stated pressure and temperature are measured at the unit. Over long runs, friction and heat loss reduce both at the lance — a 300 m run typically arrives around 20 K cooler. Size hose bore for the intended run length and verify in the working configuration.

Hot-water compatibility. Heated operation must be matched to the temperature rating of the connected hose and airborne lance. Verify the full delivery chain before running above ambient temperature.

Fuel. Diesel only, as stated on the identification plate. The 20 L tank supports approximately four hours of continuous heated operation on the S-08 and two hours on the T-15. Running dry damages the fuel pump.

Water quality and scale. The inlet filter requires periodic cleaning. Hard water scales the heating coil over time and periodic descaling is required; purified water reduces both scaling and drying spots.

Chemical handling. Use only chemicals compatible with the pump seals and the coil. Keep the two chemical lines separated for incompatible products and flush the high-pressure circuit with clean water after every chemical cycle.

Frost protection. Do not expose the unit to frost. Circulate antifreeze through the system at the end of work or before any extended break in freezing conditions.

Handling and siting. The unit weighs 200 kg dry — use mechanical lifting equipment for loading and positioning. Operate on firm level ground and never move the unit while it is running.

Service. Check pump oil daily and inspect for leaks weekly. Annual service by an authorised technician is required, including coil descaling and burner maintenance.
